Celtic - Telecommunication
Solutions Celtic is a EUREKA cluster and the only European R&D programme in ICT fully dedicated to end-to-end telecommunication solutions. Celtic will initiate and run privately and public funded ICT/ telecommunications R&D projects. It is supported by most of the major European players in communication technologies. Celtic projects are focusing at telecoms networks, applications, and services looking at a complete system approach. The size of the Celtic budget is in the range of 1 billion euro. Celtic is open to any kind of project participants from all EUREKA countries. |

Celtic News 2/ 2008 (July 2008) published Celtic Core Group strengthened by Turkcell.
The research activities within the Celtic frame work are now also followed by Turkcell, who joined the Celtic Core Group in June 2008. The Core Group consists now of 13 companies from industry, operators, and research. More... Six projects received the Celtic Excellence Award

The 4th annual Celtic Event 2009 will take place from 11 to 12 March 2009 in Paris. The Event can only be attended upon personal invitation. More... The Information Day is open for interested people who intend to prepare or discuss new project proposals with other experts. More... 19 Celtic Proposal Outlines (PO) invited for FPPOn 18 June Public Authorities and the Celtic Core Group have selected from 22 submitted proposal outlines 19 proposals and invited them to submit a full project proposal by 1st October 2008. The invited proposals, abstracts and contact points are indicated in the Celtic project tables. Invited projects can access the FPP submission page.

Public Safety Communication Europe With the support of the European Commission, “Forum for Public Safety Communication Europe” has been established in order to facilitate consensus building in the area of public safety communication and information management systems. This Forum invites users and policy makers, industrials (technology and service providers), research organizations and standard making authorities to reach consensus on security related subjects. |
