| Conditions for Celtic fees: Important notice: a Celtic fee of 1500 Euros per PY per year will be required from any successful proposal that have been granted the Celtic label. A Confirmation Letter must be signed by all participants before the submission of a Full Project Proposal. However you should be aware of this rule). Universities, public research institutes or other non-commercial or non-profit organisations may be exempted from the payment of the CELTIC contribution fee by decision of the CELTIC Office. An organisation requesting exemption from the CELTIC contribution fee must prove that the organisation is publicly owned to more than 50%. Please note also: The obligation to pay the contribution fee starts when the labelled project starts. Participants who have not received a funding confirmation until the project start date may decide to work in the project without funding. In this case the obligation to pay the fee will remain disregarding the fact if public funding will be granted or not. It is also possible that a partner in the project announces changes in its participation, e.g. delayed start, changes in budget allocations or work assignments. Those changes have to be communicated by issuing a Project Change Request (PCR) via the Project coordinator and have to be approved by Celtic (see also Celtic Handbook). The fee is calculated from the moment when the Celtic label has been granted or a PCR has been approved. First invoices will be sent out after the start of the project or, in case of delayed start of a partner, at a date indicated in the related PCR.
If a project will not start at all no participant is obliged to pay the fee. |
