Celtic News,  3 July 2006

Celtic is a EUREKA ICT cluster programme, which initiates and runs privately and publicly funded R&D projects in the field of telecommunications.

We would like to inform you about two Celtic news items that might be of interest for you:

1) Successful Call 4 Proposal Outline Phase

The outcome of the first phase of Call 4 was very successful and an important number of highly interesting and well elaborated proposals were received

After a technical review of the received proposal outlines 26 proposals were finally selected and invited to submit a full project proposal (FPP) until the end of the FPP submission deadline on 5 October 2007.

An overview on the successful proposals is given at our project info web page. From this list general information on each proposal is accessible.

Please note that a number of these projects may still be interested to extend their current consortium and to include new expertise.

2) First issue of Celtic News available now

The first issue of Celtic News was released in June. The newsletter is published three times a year. It is available both as printed and electronic versions (PDF). The print edition is distributed as an insert of the established R&D magazine Eurescom mess@ge.

If you want to receive the printed issues (free of charge) please subscribe at: http://www.eurescom.de/message/subscribe.asp
