Submission starts for Celtic Call 3 Full Project Proposals

The Celtic Initiative has issued its Third Call for Full Project Proposals (FPP)
The submission deadline is 6 October 2005.
According to the Celtic standard procedure, submissions can only be accepted for those proposals that had submitted a Proposal Outline and who have explicitly been invited to submit a FPP!

Important information for exceptional FPP submissions:
Due to time and resource constraints for some companies that were engaged in the IST Call 4, which was running in parallel to the Celtic Call 3 (PO), the Celtic Core Group decided to, exceptionally, accept a limited number of additional proposals that had not submitted a proposal outline during the first phase of Call 3.

For those exceptional submissions the following additional requirements must, absolutely, be followed as otherwise the submission will be rejected:

  • Before 20 July 2005 a project abstract of the intended FPP must be submitted. This abstract must contain a short outline and summary of the proposals, the envisaged consortium and time and budget information. For this abstract you may use a 2-3 pages freeform or the PO form, fill in the requested information as mentioned above and send it by e-mail to the Celtic Office.

  • Please assure that your abstract is explicative enough to understand what the project intends to do, how this work will be done and who will be involved in the work. Budget/ effort figures and duration should be given with a realistic estimates.

  • In parallel the concerned Public Authorities will be informed by the Office and asked about their position

  • The submitter of the request will be informed within 10 days if an exceptional FPP may be submitted.

  • Without a positive answer from the Celtic Office a FPP submission will not be permitted.

  • It should be noted that the submitters of this exceptional FPP will not receive any feedback from the reviewers on necessary improvements and the submitters take the full risk in preparing a full project proposal in all necessary details.

Before preparing any additional submission (abstract or FPP) it is highly advised to contact the Celtic Office in beforehand!
In case you want to join one of the selected Call 3 proposals or if you are looking for suitable experts to expand your consortium please check our Find-a-Partner page.
