Successful 3rd Celtic Information Day

Another successful Celtic Information Day on Call 3 was held on 16 February 2005 in Heidelberg/ Germany. Several participants presented possible project ideas or offered their expertise or organisation for joining a new project consortium. First contacts for building project consortia started already during the event. More organisations and experts still will have the opportunity to join and bring in own ideas for a new Celtic project proposal. Celtic project presentations at Eurescom Summit 2005 (27-29 April in Heidelberg/ Germany)

At this occasion we also would like to remind you that a number of Celtic projects will present their latest results at the Eurescom Summit 2005. At this event experts from leading industry players like Deutsche Telekom, BT, Telefónica, NTT DoCoMo, Telenor, NEC, Lucent, Ericsson, Siemens, and IBM will present their latest research results on ubiquitous services and applications and their views on exciting business opportunities. You can meet leading researchers like Dr. Norbert Streitz, head of the research division "AMBIENTE - Smart Environments of the Future" at Fraunhofer institute IPSI, who will share his vision of tomorrow's ambient-intelligent world with the audience.
Additional presentations will cover the conference theme "Ubiquitous Services and Applications" in a comprehensive way, including advanced networking aspects, user-centric technology, and service platforms as well as quality of service and security. The conference programme is complemented by tutorials, technical demonstrations, and social events.
